Maryland High School Baseball - Gaithersburg loses to Walter Johnson
May 2, 2024: Gaithersburg, MD 20877 The Walter Johnson Wildcats crushed the host Gaithersburg Trojans baseball team by a count of 12-1 in Thursday's league bout.
The Wildcats now possess a 15-4 record. They take the field next when they host Richard Montgomery for a Montgomery County 4A - West bout on Monday, May 6. Walter Johnson will face a Rockets team coming off a 14-4 league win over Wheaton (Silver Spring, MD). The Rockets record now stands at 15-3.
Next, the Trojans face the Northwood Gladiators (Silver Spring, MD) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, May 4. Gaithersburg will attempt to move on its 5-11 season record. The Gladiators enter the bout with a 9-7 record after their 23-14 league win over Paint Branch (Burtonsville, MD).
