Illinois High School Baseball - Saint Viator loses to Jacobs
May 2, 2024: Algonquin, IL 60102 In Thursday's non-league game, the host Jacobs Golden Eagles baseball team scored a tight 9-3 victory over the Saint Viator Lions.
The Golden Eagles (16-8) will now prepare for their game against McHenry (McHenry, IL). The Warriors go into the Fox Valley - Valley game with a 20-6 record. In their last game, McHenry was overwhelmed by Crystal Lake South (Crystal Lake, IL), 4-1, in a league contest.
The Lions now sport a 14-12 record. They play next when they host Joliet Catholic for a East Suburban Catholic contest on Saturday, May 4. Saint Viator will encounter a Hilltoppers squad coming off a 10-0 non-league win over Coal City (Coal City, IL). The Hilltoppers record now stands at 22-2.
