Mount Michael Benedictine Knights (Elkhorn, NE) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Twin River Titans (Genoa, NE), 8-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Mount Michael Benedictine upgrades its record to 11-10 on the season. The Knights travel to Platteview (Springfield, NE) to battle the Trojans in a non-league test on Friday, May 3. The Trojans come into the test with a record of 13-9. Platteview won 11-0 in their recent league test against Fairbury (Fairbury, NE)

With the defeat, Twin River falls to 5-10 on the season.
