May 2, 2024: Brandon, VT 05733 The Otter Valley Otters crushed the visiting Mt. Abraham Eagles baseball team by a tally of 7-1 in Thursday's league bout.
The Otters now hold a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bellows Falls for a SVL B bout on Friday, May 3. Otter Valley will face a Terriers team coming off a 9-1 non-league loss to Burr & Burton (Manchester, VT). The Terriers record now stands at 4-3.
Next, the Eagles face the Rutland Raiders (Rutland, VT) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, May 4. Mt. Abraham will attempt to advance on its 1-3 season record. The Raiders enter the bout with a 3-4 record after their 5-4 league loss to Mount Anthony (Bennington, VT).
