May 2, 2024: Holden, MA 01520 The Wachusett Regional Mountaineers baseball team scored 4 runs and limited the visiting Oakmont Regional Spartans to 3 in the Mountaineers non-league victory on Thursday.
The Mountaineers (4-5) will now prepare for their match against Algonquin Regional (Northborough, MA). The Titans go into the Midland-Wachusett A match with a 4-6 record. In their last match, Algonquin Regional was edged by Shrewsbury (Shrewsbury, MA), 2-0, in a league match.
The Spartans (10-1) will now prepare for their match against Hopkinton (Hopkinton, MA). The Hillers go into the non-league match with a 8-3 record. In their last match, Hopkinton tipped Dover-Sherborn (Dover, MA), 6-2, in a league match.
