The Palmyra Cougars lacrosse team scored 14 points and limited the visiting Mechanicsburg Wildcats to 3 in the Cougars league triumph on Thursday.

The Cougars (11-4) will now prepare for their game against State College (State College, PA). The Little Lions enter the Mid-Penn game with a 13-1 record. In their last game, State College defeated Northern York (Dillsburg, PA), 19-3, in a league match.

With the defeat, Mechanicsburg drops to 9-7 on the season. The Wildcats host South Western (Hanover, PA) to play the Mustangs in a non-league match on Friday, May 3. The Mustangs go into the match with a record of 15-2. South Western won 16-4 in their recent league match against Kennard-Dale (Fawn Grove, PA)
