Notre Dame Irish (Lawrenceville, NJ) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the host Montgomery Cougars (Skillman, NJ), 19-9 in a non-league battle.

The Irish now have a 9-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lawrence for a Colonial Valley - Colonial game on Tuesday, May 7.

The Cougars (0-12) will now prepare for their game against West Windsor-Plainsboro South (Princeton Junction, NJ). The Pirates enter the non-league game with a 6-9 record. In their last game, West Windsor-Plainsboro South was overwhelmed by Peddie (Hightstown, NJ), 14-2, in a non-league game.
