May 2, 2024: Pawnee, IL 62558 The Pawnee Indians (Pawnee, IL) softball nipped the visiting Auburn Trojans (Auburn, IL), 6-5 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Indians (10-5) will now prepare for their bout against Springfield (Springfield, IL). The Senators go into the non-league bout with a 13-3 record.
The Trojans now possess a 19-6 record. They play next when they travel to Athens for a Sangamo bout on Friday, May 3. Auburn will confront a Warriors squad coming off a 8-5 non-league loss to Taylorville (Taylorville, IL). The Warriors record now stands at 9-11.
