Arkansas High School Softball - Greene County Tech holds off Benton
May 2, 2024: Paragould, AR 72450 Greene County Tech Golden Eagles (Paragould, AR) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Benton Panthers (Benton, AR), 9-7 in a non-league challenge.
The Golden Eagles now own a 21-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cabot for a non-league challenge on Monday, May 6.
With the loss, Benton falls to 17-9 on the campaign. The Panthers host Rogers (Rogers, AR) to battle the Mountaineers in a non-league challenge on Monday, May 6. The Mountaineers enter the challenge with a record of 29-3. Rogers won 6-2 in their recent league challenge against Rogers Heritage (Rogers, AR)
