The Hanson Beavers routed the visiting McCook Central/Montrose Fighting Cougars softball squad by a count of 13-3 in Thursday's league battle.

The Beavers (12-3) will now prepare for their battle against Scotland/Menno (Menno, SD). The Trappers go into the Class B battle with a 8-3 record. In their last battle, Scotland/Menno topped Parkston (Parkston, SD), 8-3, in a non-league battle.
