May 2, 2024: Quincy, IL 62301 The crowd at Thursday's non-league match between the Quincy Notre Dame Raiders (Quincy, IL) and the visiting Macomb Bombers (Macomb, IL), saw Quincy Notre Dame's softball squad achieve victory over Macomb by a count of 13-0.
The Raiders now sport a 15-2 record. They take the field next when they host Pleasant Hill for a non-league match on Saturday, May 4. Quincy Notre Dame will face a Wolves squad coming off a 16-1 league win over Routt Catholic (Jacksonville, IL). The Wolves record now stands at 19-3.
With the loss, Macomb falls to 9-8 on the campaign. The Bombers travel to Lewistown (Lewistown, IL) to face the Indians in a Prairieland match on Friday, May 3. The Indians enter the match with a record of 3-11. Lewistown lost 4-0 in their recent non-league match against Farmington (Farmington, IL)
