Next up, the Mustangs encounter the Grant Union Prospectors (John Day, OR) in a 2A/1A-SD7 Special District 7 bout, on Tuesday, May 6. Heppner/Ione will attempt to upgrade on its 6-1 season record. The Prospectors enter the bout with a 10-8 record after their 23-3 league win over Elgin (Elgin, OR).
