The crowd at Friday's non-league battle between the Forge Christian Fury (Arvada, CO) and the visiting Valley Vikings (Gilcrest, CO), saw Forge Christian's baseball team gain a win over Valley by a tally of 6-2.

The Fury (17-2) will now prepare for their battle against The Academy (Westminster, CO). The Wildcats enter the 3A/2A Metro battle with a 6-14 record. In their last battle, The Academy was overwhelmed by University (Greeley, CO), 11-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Vikings face the Platte Valley Broncos (Kersey, CO) in a 4A/3A/2A Patriot battle, on Tuesday, May 6. Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 9-11 season record. The Broncos enter the battle with a 12-8 record after their 5-0 league loss to University (Greeley, CO).
