May 2, 2025: Rockaway, NJ 07866 The Hanover Park Hornets baseball team scored 1 runs and held the host Morris Knolls Golden Eagles to 0 in the Hornets non-league win on Friday.
The Hornets now own a 9-7 record. They take the field next when they host Mount Olive for a non-league test on Saturday, May 3. Hanover Park will clash with a Marauders team coming off a 16-2 non-league win over Newton (Newton, NJ). The Marauders record now stands at 11-4.
With the defeat, Morris Knolls drops to 7-8 on the year. The Golden eagles travel to West Morris Mendham (Mendham, NJ) to clash with the Minutemen in a NJAC - American test on Monday, May 5. The Minutemen go into the test with a record of 4-11. West Morris Mendham lost 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Ridge (Basking Ridge, NJ)
