New Jersey High School Baseball - Roxbury defeats Whippany Park
May 2, 2025: Succasunna, NJ 07876 The Roxbury Gaels baseball team scored 7 runs and held the visiting Whippany Park Wildcats to 1 in the Gaels non-league win on Friday.
The Gaels now own a 12-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Morristown for a non-league test on Saturday, May 3. Roxbury will clash with a Colonials team coming off a 10-4 non-league win over Morris County Tech (Denville, NJ). The Colonials record now stands at 9-6.
With the defeat, Whippany Park drops to 7-9 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Morristown-Beard (Morristown, NJ) to clash with the Crimson in a NJAC - Independence test on Saturday, May 3. The Crimson go into the test with a record of 10-6. Morristown-Beard lost 4-3 in their recent non-league test against Kinnelon (Kinnelon, NJ)
