May 2, 2025: McBain, MI 49657 In Friday's non-league outing, the host Northern Michigan Christian Comets soccer squad scored a tight 2-0 victory over the Chippewa Hills Warriors.
The Comets (9-2) will now prepare for their outing against Crossroads Charter Academy (Big Rapids, MI). The Cougars go into the Northern Michigan - North outing with a 4-5 record. In their last outing, Crossroads Charter Academy got by Oscoda (Oscoda, MI), 6-1, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Warriors confront the Reed City Coyotes (Reed City, MI) in a Central State outing, on Monday, May 5. Chippewa Hills will attempt to improve on its 2-10 season record. The Coyotes go into the outing with a 4-3 record after their 2-0 league win over Newaygo (Newaygo, MI).
