May 2, 2025: Normal, IL 61761 Normal West Wildcats (Normal, IL) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the visiting Wheaton North Falcons (Wheaton, IL), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Normal West moves its record to 10-5 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Saint Viator (Arlington Heights, IL) to clash with the Lions in a non-league test on Friday, May 2. The Lions come into the test with a record of 6-6. Saint Viator lost 2-0 in their recent league test against Nazareth Academy (LaGrange Park, IL)
The Falcons now sport a 6-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Geneva for a DuKane test on Tuesday, May 6. Wheaton North will clash with a Vikings team coming off a 1-1 non-league Oswego East (Oswego, IL). The Vikings record now stands at 4-7.
