May 2, 2025: Livingston, NJ 07039 In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Rutgers Prep Argonauts lacrosse squad scored a tight 9-6 win over the Newark Academy Minutemen.
The Argonauts (3-8) will now prepare for their contest against Gill St. Bernard's (Gladstone, NJ). The Knights enter the non-league contest with a 7-2 record. In their last contest, Gill St. Bernard's nipped Somerville (Somerville, NJ), 13-4, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Minutemen meet the Montclair Kimberley Academy Cougars (Montclair, NJ) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, May 3. Newark Academy will attempt to better on its 9-6 season record. The Cougars enter the contest with a 6-3 record after their 18-4 non-league win over Dwight-Englewood (Englewood, NJ).
