New Jersey High School Lacrosse - West Essex bounces West Orange
May 2, 2025: West Orange, NJ 07052 Fans at Friday's non-league test between the West Essex Knights (North Caldwell, NJ) and the host West Orange Mountaineers (West Orange, NJ), witnessed West Essex's lacrosse squad top West Orange by a count of 21-0.
The Knights (6-5) will now prepare for their test against Montclair Kimberley Academy (Montclair, NJ). The Cougars enter the non-league test with a 7-3 record. In their last test, Montclair Kimberley Academy thwarted Newark Academy (Livingston, NJ), 17-9, in a non-league test.
Next, the Mountaineers battle the Verona Hillbillies (Verona, NJ) in a non-league test, on Monday, May 5. West Orange will attempt to move on its 5-5 season record. The Hillbillies enter the test with a 7-6 record after their 11-6 non-league loss to Livingston (Livingston, NJ).
