Virginia High School Soccer - Warhill knocks off Poquoson
May 2, 2025: Poquoson, VA 23662 In Friday's league outing, the visiting Warhill Lions soccer squad scored a tight 4-1 victory over the Poquoson Islanders.
The Lions (7-2) will now prepare for their outing against Grafton (Yorktown, VA). The Clippers go into the Bay Rivers outing with a 6-1 record. In their last outing, Grafton got by Lafayette (Williamsburg, VA), 3-2, in a league outing.
Next up, the Islanders confront the Lafayette Rams (Williamsburg, VA) in a Bay Rivers outing, on Monday, May 5. Poquoson will attempt to improve on its 4-7 season record. The Rams go into the outing with a 4-5 record after their 3-2 league loss to Grafton (Yorktown, VA).
