May 2, 2025: Belleville, NJ 07109 Cedar Grove Panthers (Cedar Grove, NJ) backers left the game pleased Friday as they saw their softball squad thwart the host Belleville Buccaneers (Belleville, NJ), 15-0 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Cedar Grove upgrades its record to 13-2 on the year. The Panthers travel to Livingston (Livingston, NJ) to battle the Lancers in a SEC - American bout on Monday, May 5. The Lancers go into the bout with a record of 4-9. Livingston won 15-5 in their recent non-league bout against Payne Tech (Newark, NJ)
In their next game, the Buccaneers battle the Millburn Millers (Millburn, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Monday, May 5. Belleville will attempt to advance on its 5-9 season record. The Millers go into the bout with a 4-7 record after their 10-2 non-league loss to Montclair Kimberley Academy (Montclair, NJ).
