The Carmel Padres softball team scored 25 runs and held the visiting Pajaro Valley Grizzlies to 4 in the Padres non-league win on Friday.

The Padres now possess a 15-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Greenfield for a non-league battle on Tuesday, May 6. Carmel will confront a Bruins team coming off a 25-0 league win over Marina (Marina, CA). The Bruins record now stands at 9-13.

With the loss, Pajaro Valley moves to 6-10 on the season. The Grizzlies host Marina (Marina, CA) to confront the Mariners in a PCAL - Cypress battle on Wednesday, May 7. The Mariners come into the battle with a record of 7-5. Marina lost 25-0 in their recent league battle against Greenfield (Greenfield, CA)
