The Glastonbury Guardians triumphed over the host East Hartford Hornets softball squad by a count of 11-3 in Friday's league challenge.

Next, the Guardians play the RHAM Raptors (Hebron, CT) in a Central Connecticut - North challenge, on Monday, May 5. Glastonbury will attempt to upgrade on its 5-6 season record. The Raptors enter the challenge with a 5-5 record after their 11-4 non-league win over Lewis Mills (Burlington, CT).

The Hornets (5-5) will now prepare for their challenge against South Windsor (South Windsor, CT). The Bobcats enter the Central Connecticut - North challenge with a 1-10 record. In their last challenge, South Windsor was routed by Tolland (Tolland, CT), 15-3, in a league challenge.
