The Western Panthers softball team scored 13 runs and held the visiting Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger Saints to 0 in the Panthers non-league win on Friday.

The Panthers now possess a 14-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Niles for a non-league battle on Saturday, May 3. Western will confront a Vikings team coming off a 9-5 non-league loss to Otsego (Otsego, MI). The Vikings record now stands at 3-8.

With the loss, Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger moves to 8-6 on the season. The Saints travel to Mishawaka (Mishawaka, IN) to confront the Cavemen in a non-league battle on Saturday, May 3.
