Houghton Lake Bobcats (Houghton Lake, MI) supporters left the game thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Mio-Au Sable Thunderbolts (Mio, MI), 10-9 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Houghton Lake improves its record to 5-8 on the year. The Bobcats travel to Evart (Evart, MI) to play the Wildcats in a Highland game on Tuesday, May 6. The Wildcats enter the game with a record of 10-3. Evart lost 7-6 in their recent non-league game against Ithaca (Ithaca, MI)
