The Bartlett Hawks baseball team scored 6 runs and held the host Conant Cougars to 2 in the Hawks non-league win on Saturday.

The Hawks now own a 16-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Elgin for a Upstate Eight test on Monday, May 4. Bartlett will play a Maroons team coming off a 5-3 league loss to Fenton (Bensenville, IL). The Maroons record now stands at 5-12.

With the defeat, Conant drops to 14-8 on the year. The Cougars travel to Fremd (Palatine, IL) to play the Vikings in a Mid-Suburban - West test on Monday, May 4. The Vikings go into the test with a record of 15-7. Fremd lost 8-5 in their recent non-league test against Warren Township (Gurnee, IL)
