In Saturday's non-league bout, the Bishop Amat Lancers (La Puente, CA) baseball squad overwhelmed the host Covina Colts (Covina, CA), by a score of 11-1.

Next up, the Lancers encounter the Arlington Lions (Riverside, CA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, May 5. Bishop Amat will attempt to advance on its 16-10 season record. The Lions enter the bout with a 17-10 record after their 2-1 league loss to Paloma Valley (Menifee, CA).

The Colts (9-12) will now prepare for their bout against Wilson (Hacienda Heights, CA). The Wildcats enter the Valley Vista bout with a 3-14 record. In their last bout, Wilson was overwhelmed by Northview (Covina, CA), 10-0, in a league bout.
