The Lake Catholic Cougars (Mentor, OH) baseball trounced the visiting Geneva Eagles (Geneva, OH), 7-1 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

The Cougars now own a 10-7 record. They take the field next when they host Villa Angela-St. Joseph for a non-league challenge on Monday, May 4. Lake Catholic will clash with a Vikings team coming off a 16-6 non-league win over Brush (Lyndhurst, OH). The Vikings record now stands at 2-11.

With the defeat, Geneva drops to 6-8 on the year. The Eagles travel to Lakeside (Ashtabula, OH) to clash with the Dragons in a Chagrin Valley - Lake challenge on Monday, May 4.
