The Damascus Swarmin' Hornets softball team scored 11 runs and held the visiting Walter Johnson Wildcats to 3 in the Swarmin' Hornets non-league win on Saturday.

The Swarmin' Hornets now sport a 17-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host South Carroll for a non-league battle on Wednesday, May 6. Damascus will confront a Cavaliers team coming off a 10-0 non-league win over McDonogh (Owings Mills, MD). The Cavaliers record now stands at 18-2.

With the loss, Walter Johnson moves to 13-7 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Rockville (Rockville, MD) to confront the Rams in a non-league battle on Monday, May 4. The Rams come into the battle with a record of 6-9. Rockville won 14-8 in their recent non-league battle against Paint Branch (Burtonsville, MD)
