Minnesota High School Softball - St. Cloud Cathedral bounces Springfield
May 2, 2026: St. Cloud, MN 56303 In Saturday's non-league match, the host St. Cloud Cathedral Crusaders softball team scored a tight 10-5 win over the Springfield Tigers.
The Crusaders (19-6) will now prepare for their match against Annandale (Annandale, MN). The Cardinals come into the non-league match with a 10-4 record. In their last match, Annandale nipped Glencoe-Silver Lake (Glencoe, MN), 10-0, in a league match.
In their next game, the Tigers battle the Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart Mustangs (Hector, MN) in a Tomahawk match, on Monday, May 4. Springfield will attempt to better on its 8-6 season record. The Mustangs come into the match with a 3-10 record after their 7-3 league loss to St. Mary's (Sleepy Eye, MN).
