In Thursday's league contest, the Red Hill Salukis (Bridgeport, IL) softball team held off the host Richland County Tigers (Olney, IL), by a count of 3-2.

The Salukis (4-7) will now prepare for their battle against Casey-Westfield (Casey, IL). The Warriors go into the Little Illini battle with a 19-3 record. In their last battle, Casey-Westfield nudged Newton (Newton, IL), 1-0, in a league battle.
