The Bear Grass Charter Bears crushed the visiting East Columbus Gators baseball team by a count of 11-3 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Bears now possess a 21-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Perquimans for a non-league bout on Tuesday, May 24. Bear Grass Charter will face a Pirates team coming off a 7-0 non-league win over Chatham Central (Bear Creek, NC). The Pirates record now stands at 27-1.
