In Friday's non-league game, the visiting Union Academy Cardinals baseball team scored a tight 7-0 victory over the South Stokes Sauras.

The Cardinals (19-7) will now prepare for their game against Cherryville (Cherryville, NC). The Ironmen go into the non-league contest with a 19-9 record. In their last contest, Cherryville held off Uwharrie Charter (Asheboro, NC), 7-5, in a non-league contest.

The Sauras now sport a 18-7 record.
