Orcutt Academy Spartans (Orcutt, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Corcoran Panthers (Corcoran, CA), 7-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Spartans now own a 13-14 record. They take the field next when they travel to Nipomo for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 25. Orcutt Academy will face a Titans squad coming off a 10-1 non-league win over Parlier (Parlier, CA). The Titans record now stands at 9-11.

With the loss, Corcoran falls to 11-17 on the campaign.
