May 20, 2024: Belle Plaine, IA 52208 Belle Plaine Plainsmen (Belle Plaine, IA) supporters were pleased Monday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Keokuk Chiefs (Keokuk, IA), 10-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Plainsmen confront the Assumption Knights (Davenport, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, May 22. Belle Plaine will attempt to move on its 12-2 season record. The Knights enter the challenge with a 14-9 record after their 2-0 non-league win over West Burlington (West Burlington, IA).
The Chiefs now possess a 1-15 record. They take the field next when they travel to Williamsburg for a non-league challenge on Monday, May 20. Keokuk will confront a Raiders team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Marion (Marion, IA). The Raiders record now stands at 14-2.
