Maine High School Softball - Hermon bounces Bangor
May 20, 2024: Bangor, ME 04401 Hermon Hawks (Hermon, ME) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Bangor Rams (Bangor, ME), 7-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Hawks now own a 8-4 record. They take the field next when they host Ellsworth for a Class B North challenge on Wednesday, May 22. Hermon will face a Eagles squad coming off a 4-3 league loss to Old Town (Old Town, ME). The Eagles record now stands at 8-3.
With the loss, Bangor falls to 1-10 on the campaign. The Rams travel to Brunswick (Brunswick, ME) to face the Dragons in a Class A North challenge on Thursday, May 23. The Dragons enter the challenge with a record of 4-10. Brunswick lost 6-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Morse (Bath, ME)
