Massachusetts High School Softball - Peabody Veterans Memorial bounces Salem
May 20, 2024: Salem, MA 01970 Peabody Veterans Memorial Tanners (Peabody, MA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Salem Witches (Salem, MA), 13-0 in a league challenge.
The Tanners now own a 13-2 record. They take the field next when they host Beverly for a Northeast challenge on Tuesday, May 21. Peabody Veterans Memorial will face a Panthers squad coming off a 15-7 league win over Swampscott (Swampscott, MA). The Panthers record now stands at 9-0.
With the loss, Salem falls to 6-8 on the campaign. The Witches host Greater Lawrence Tech (Andover, MA) to face the Reggies in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 22. The Reggies enter the challenge with a record of 13-5. Greater Lawrence Tech won 5-3 in their recent league challenge against Greater Lowell Tech (Tyngsborough, MA)
