Madison Bulldogs (Madison, ME) followers left the game satisfied Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad nip the visiting Dirigo Cougars (Dixfield, ME), 1-0 in a league match.

With the triumph, Madison moves its record to 7-3 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Monmouth Academy (Monmouth, ME) to confront the Mustangs in a Class C South match on Wednesday, May 21. The Mustangs come into the match with a record of 8-3. Monmouth Academy won 11-3 in their recent league match against Mountain Valley (Rumford, ME)

The Cougars now possess a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Spruce Mountain for a Class C South match on Thursday, May 22. Dirigo will confront a Phoenix squad coming off a 10-9 league loss to Maranacook (Readfield, ME). The Phoenix record now stands at 2-8.
