Michigan High School Baseball - Seaholm/Groves defeats King
May 20, 2025: Birmingham, MI The crowd at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Seaholm/Groves Maples (Birmingham, MI) and the visiting King Crusaders (Detroit, MI), saw Seaholm/Groves's baseball team beat King by a margin of 5-0.
The Maples (12-19) will now prepare for their battle against Seaholm (Birmingham, MI). The Maples enter the non-league battle with a 21-6 record. In their last battle, Seaholm was overwhelmed by St. Mary's Prep (Orchard Lake, MI), 11-0, in a non-league challenge.
With the defeat, King drops to 3-12 on the year. The Crusaders travel to Western International (Detroit, MI) to clash with the Cowboys in a Detroit Public - Southwest challenge on Friday, May 30. The Cowboys go into the challenge with a record of 19-9.
