Carroll Chargers (Fort Wayne, IN) fans left the game pleased Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the visiting Bellmont Braves (Decatur, IN), 5-0 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, Carroll advances its record to 14-8 on the season. The Chargers host Norwell (Ossian, IN) to battle the Knights in a non-league match on Friday, May 22. The Knights come into the match with a record of 15-8. Norwell won 16-1 in their recent non-league match against Fort Wayne Northrop (Fort Wayne, IN)

The Braves now have a 8-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jay County for a non-league match on Thursday, May 21. Bellmont will battle a Patriots squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Fort Recovery (Fort Recovery, OH). The Patriots record now stands at 15-7.
