May 21, 2022: Cornish, ME 04041 In Saturday's non-league contest, the Fryeburg Raiders (Fryeburg, ME) softball team overwhelmed the host Sacopee Valley Hawks (Cornish, ME), by a margin of 10-2.
With the triumph, Fryeburg moves its record to 6-6 on the year. The Raiders host Gray-New Gloucester (Gray, ME) to play the Patriots in a Class B South contest on Monday, May 23. The Patriots come into the contest with a record of 2-7. Gray-New Gloucester lost 13-3 in their recent league contest against Wells (Wells, ME)
In their next game, the Hawks play the St. Dominic Saints (Lewiston, ME) in a non-league contest, on Monday, May 23. Sacopee Valley will attempt to move on its 10-4 season record. The Saints come into the contest with a 11-1 record after their 8-1 non-league win over Traip (Kittery, ME).
