Virginia High School Softball - West Springfield holds off Falls Church
May 21, 2024: Falls Church, VA 22042 West Springfield Spartans (Springfield, VA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Falls Church Jaguars (Falls Church, VA), 5-3 in a non-league challenge.
The Spartans now own a 10-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lake Braddock for a Patriot challenge on Friday, May 24. West Springfield will battle a Bruins squad coming off a 4-0 league loss to West Potomac (Alexandria, VA). The Bruins record now stands at 18-4.
With the loss, Falls Church falls to 10-7 on the campaign.
