The Buchanan Bucks baseball team scored 6 runs and held the host New Buffalo Bison to 2 in the Bucks non-league win on Wednesday.

The Bucks now hold a 7-17 record. They take the field next when they travel to Portage Central for a non-league test on Friday, May 23. Buchanan will play a Mustangs team coming off a 10-7 league loss to Portage Northern (Portage, MI). The Mustangs record now stands at 7-19.

With the defeat, New Buffalo drops to 12-8 on the year. The Bison travel to Cassopolis (Cassopolis, MI) to play the Rangers in a non-league test on Friday, May 23. The Rangers go into the test with a record of 7-12. Cassopolis won 11-5 in their recent league test against Hartford (Hartford, MI)
