The South Colonels baseball team scored 6 runs and held the host Quabbin Regional Panthers to 2 in the Colonels non-league win on Wednesday.

The Colonels now hold a 15-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Douglas for a non-league test on Friday, May 23. South will play a Tigers team coming off a 12-5 non-league loss to Oxford (Oxford, MA). The Tigers record now stands at 6-13.

With the defeat, Quabbin Regional drops to 7-10 on the year. The Panthers host Gardner (Gardner, MA) to play the Wildcats in a non-league test on Thursday, May 22. The Wildcats go into the test with a record of 8-8. Gardner won 5-1 in their recent non-league test against Tahanto Regional (Boylston, MA)
