Massachusetts High School Softball - Bedford gets by Gloucester
May 21, 2025: Gloucester, MA 01930 The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the Bedford Buccaneers (Bedford, MA) and the host Gloucester Fishermen (Gloucester, MA), observed Bedford's softball team get by Gloucester by a tally of 2-1.
The Buccaneers (11-1) will now prepare for their bout against Tyngsborough (Tyngsborough, MA). The Tigers go into the non-league bout with a 15-3 record. In their last bout, Tyngsborough was nipped by Central Catholic (Lawrence, MA), 9-1, in a non-league bout.
In their next game, the Fishermen meet the Marblehead Magicians (Marblehead, MA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, May 24. Gloucester will attempt to upgrade on its 14-3 season record. The Magicians go into the challenge with a 13-1 record after their 7-2 non-league win over Wakefield Memorial (Wakefield, MA).
