May 21, 2025: Waterbury, CT 06708 In Wednesday's non-league match, the visiting Gilbert-Northwestern Regional Yellowjackets softball team scored a tight 9-6 win over the Kennedy Eagles.
The Yellowjackets (4-4) will now prepare for their match against East Windsor (East Windsor, CT). The Panthers come into the non-league match with a 1-10 record.
In their next game, the Eagles confront the Derby Red Raiders (Derby, CT) in a Naugatuck Valley - Brass match, on Friday, May 23. Kennedy will attempt to better on its 7-10 season record. The Red Raiders come into the match with a 6-11 record after their 15-1 non-league win over Harding (Bridgeport, CT).
