May 22, 2023: Shelby, OH 44875 Shelby Whippets (Shelby, OH) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Edison Chargers (Milan, OH), 4-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Shelby upgrades its record to 10-5 on the season. The Whippets travel to Seneca East (Attica, OH) to battle the Tigers in a non-league test on Tuesday, May 23. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 13-13. Seneca East won 2-1 in their recent non-league test against Plymouth (Plymouth, OH)
With the defeat, Edison falls to 20-4 on the season. The Chargers travel to Crestview (Ashland, OH) to clash with the Cougars in a non-league game on Thursday, May 25. The Cougars go into the game with a record of 20-4. Crestview won 18-1 in their recent non-league game against Colonel Crawford (North Robinson, OH)
