May 22, 2023: Charlottesville, VA 22901 Albemarle Patriots (Charlottesville, VA) supporters were pleased Monday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Patrick Henry Patriots (Roanoke, VA), 8-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Patriots confront the Briar Woods Falcons (Ashburn, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, May 25. Albemarle will attempt to move on its 12-3 season record. The Falcons enter the challenge with a 10-5 record after their 4-1 league win over Riverside (Leesburg, VA).
The Patriots now possess a 10-6 record. They take the field next when they host Brooke Point for a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 25. Patrick Henry will confront a Black Hawks team coming off a 4-0 league loss to Colonial Forge (Stafford, VA). The Black Hawks record now stands at 11-5.
