Saline Hornets (Saline, MI) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Lincoln Railsplitters (Ypsilanti, MI), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Hornets now sport a 8-2 record. They take the field next when they host Northville for a non-league contest on Wednesday, May 24.
