May 22, 2024: Chesapeake, VA 23323 Spectators at Wednesday's non-league match between the Grassfield Grizzlies (Chesapeake, VA) and the visiting Highland Springs Springers (Highland Springs, VA), witnessed Grassfield's softball squad prevail over Highland Springs by a count of 15-0.
The Grizzlies now sport a 18-0 record. They play next when they host Deep Run for a non-league match on Tuesday, May 28. Grassfield will meet a Wildcats squad coming off a 6-1 non-league win over Thomas Dale (Chester, VA). The Wildcats record now stands at 15-6.
With the loss, Highland Springs moves to 10-11 on the season.
